Wireless router acting up

i have a sony vaio and a nokia n82 cell phone. both refuse to connect on my wirelss network at home. i have a linksys wrtg4 router. they connect for a minute or so then i get thrown off with a message that no gateway reply

sony and nokia have not got any system connections with each other so either by a sony ericson phone or a different pc

maybe u misunderstood my question. nothing is wron with neither the fone nor the laptop, infact, i just bought the laptop like 2 weeks ago. the problem is the router as both the laptop and the fone connect on other networks. i tried installin the router cd on the laptop and it said that its not compatible with win7
