Try installing DIVX codec from Divx.com web site. This usually resolves the issue.
Try downloading and installaing drivers of your sound card. This issue is usually caused due to faulty/incompatible sound drivers.
Go to control panel... select sound ... then select the sounds tab..... then select Window Default... And apply... done
Download K-Lite codec pack. This solves 99% of all audio & video problems. Good luck.
