Hard drive isnt recognised after hit

my pc was hit. i have two hard drives in one i have my programms ane on the other my music... the one with the music doesxnt appear at all since yesterday.. in BIOS it is recognised sata is enabled but when my pc boots there comes a message that says hard disk check error... and when my pc is open it recognises only the C drive! i hav 120 GB music in that hard disk. i cant just do format? i need help any suggestions?

I fear you have lost the use of that hard drive. The drives software has shut it down after the hi-gee shock it had.
