USB Won't detect removable media Closed

Question

hello , i recently had problems with my computers windows installation so i installed windows vista, now when i plug anything in the usb it gets power but the computer doesn't  even notice that its plugged in, i get no message and there is nothing in device manager, i also noticed there are no removable disk in my computer AT ALL. Ive tried everything and fail, can anyone help ??? And thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Sir, 

Please consider getting to the USB port and see whether there is a yellow exclamation suggesting to get its drive updated to have the problem fixed.

the drivers are updated, i dont see any yellow marks
