Sigmatel phone outgoing calls not working

I have one sigmatel phone, in which I am able receive call and send sms
But I am NOT ABLE to make OUT GOING CALLS (with an error message "Check Operator Status"). Kindly let me know the reason for this

Hi there,

Get in calls settings>send caller id ,set it by network.
