Cant run microsoft office outlook

Hi,
I am running Windows XP Professional SP 2 on a Virtual PC, I want run Microsoft Office Outlook on the same system
but I am getting a message that ' The Operating system is not presently configured to run this program'
Please help me to run the program.

Hi,
at one of our computers since March, 5th too. Would you please have a look into the Restore Points for this date? Microsoft System Distribution Service 3.0 (SDS) at this day. You also will not be able to use the restore point...
Maybe bad work of the MS guys.
At our computer helped this: http://www.anypcinfo.com/MS_Office_Not_Installed_Fix.shtml
You can also create another user account on your machine: only the current account seems to be wrecked.
