Why does my ipod show up as camera?

Hey My name is Patricia, And i have an ipod touch, and i asked my friend to put songs in it. Well everytime i connect it to MY Computer to either Remove or add Stuff, i cant cause it shows up as a camera on my Computer. Why Does it Do that? And How can i Stop that from happening?

Dear Patricia,

Please indicate whether you have the specific application for managing the iPod on your system for this could be causing the trouble or still there might be an application in conflict with it.
