No Display!!

i recently decided to upgrade my computer...which is a like a decade old....so i bought a new hard disk...& reinstalled windows n i noticed i wasnt able to play any movies so i bought a new agp video card 512mb..installed it but the display didnt come up so i replaced it back with my old one which worked....so i tried to put the new one again and now non of dem show up any display......realli need help.!!

n yea my new video card needs a power suply too (4 pins) so i had 2 disconnect one of my hard disk n use its power supply for the graphic card...

Hi there,

As per what i understand you definitely need to change the power supply with a higher capacity to be able to run your graphic card and other devices if added in future.

okie.but now i tried the old graphic card which doesnt need any power and still no display....Thanks

and yea the cpu makes a beep sound when is starts up...hope this helps in some way :)

thanks alot...but i figured it out....opened up the cpu and disconnect & connected all the wires...and now my new video card works....
I CAN WATCH MOVIES NOWW.....lol the main reason for replacing a video card in the fist place ;)
