Dell laptop p3

i have a dell laptop p3 if i power it on, the power light and hdd light will on and it will not diplay on screen for some second it will went off. pls help me out

There might be two possibility. Either the battery is loose on it or the power supply unit has some problems. Please confirm the issue so that we get to help you further in the matter.
