Can you help me log into my msn account?

I can't log in it comes saying the service is temporarily down and a weird problem code, but I can sign in on my old account but that doesn't have any of my contacts anymore.
I've tried retyping my password and email adress. My internet connection is amazing too.
I've asked my friends if they can help becuz they ve had the same problem and they downloaded the new version of msn but I already have it.

Please can someone help! =)
