micro SD card won't format in phone Closed

Question

I bought a 4 GB SanDisk micro for my Samsung phone  - my computer (toshiba laptop with Windows7) recognizes it just fine, and I've formatted the card before transferring files onto it.

As soon as I put it in the phone, and click on 'files' or 'music', it asks to format, and I press 'yes', but nothing happens, it just says 'error'..

Any ideas?

Dear Sir, 

Hence consider inserting it in a card reader and get it formatted through a PC.
