I'm hoping someone can provide a little insight into a problem I'm having with my Sony VAIO laptop. The drive (a Sony DVD RW DW-Q58a) isn't reading data DVDs (like game DVDs) or audio CDs. I've gone online to get some help on discussion boards. Other people have had success by changing the register keys, removing Nero, updating the driver, and updating the firmware, all of which I've tried without success.
Can anyone please suggest something else I can try?
