Hello, I'm having a problem from the login page. Last night I logged in but then this came up.

"Please take a moment to register this computer by choosing a name you'll remember later. You'll receive a notification confirming that you registered and logged in from here. Please note that if you clear your cookies you may need to re register this computer.

Computer name:

Don't ask me again from this computer
Leave unchecked if logging in from a public computer"

There was a box to enter in " a computer name and the a check box to Not ask me again from this computer.

I can't get past this at all. I tried logging in from work and still the problem. I Did a complete virus scan on personal laptop and there were 41 problems. I am assuming those have to do with the problem.

Can anyone help me??

Greetings,

Since you also have a problem logging in from work, I strongly suggest that your Facebook account has been hacked:

Here is your solution:

If your Account Has Been Hacked And You Have Access To your Login Email
*Go here: https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hacked_self_recovery

If your Account Has Been Hacked And Your Login Email Has Been Changed
*Go here: https://www.facebook.com/help/

If Your Account Has Been Hacked and You Don't Have Access To Your Login Email
*Go here: https://www.facebook.com/help/

Good luck

This is not a virus - it's a new security feature within facebook so you can (hopefully) tell if your account has been hacked.

Just go to Account >> Account Settings >> Account Security to change this feature.
