No sound :(

Hello,
i suddenly have no sound. i checked all my connections. i tried another set of speakers and automatic troubleshooting thru windows vista. i opened my device manager and there is nothing showing at all.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Happened to me once...

Try this:

Go to Start>Run

Type in 'services.msc' (without the apostrophes)

Then, scroll down to Windows Audio and see if the service is started. If it isn't click Start Service in the left pane.
