wireless modem increase my internet speed Closed

Hello,  

I m using the wireless modem for internet.Its a idea net setter made by huawei, on starting it shows speed of 238.6 kbs/sec.  but it gives the speed of 3 to 5 kbps 
can u tel me how to increase my internet speed. 
please tell me the solution. i wll be very thankful for this kind act. 


Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.3

For browsing ill recommend to install an booster on system,to get it use link below,also use faster browser like Google chrome:
