My wireless connection is not pinging

Hello,
I have a wireless connection from an ad hoc location that says I am connected but when I try connecting to the internet I get not able open this address thru ie. The connections was working and then not. my modem card says its firewalled..would that be it? Or is there a pinging problem

Please specify your problem even more.... Does the Network connections say you are connected and you still cannot connect?

Did you remove and Adware or viruses recently?
