do you have an onboard soundcard? or an actual card
if you have onboard try going to bios and check if the onboard soundcard is disabled
if you have an actual card \
try powering it down
remove the cable from the power supply
press the power button a few times
opening your pc and pulling the card out..
then press the power button again a few times with the cable still out
and putting the card back in..
and to install the drivers then
if this doesnt work try putting the card in another slot
