This issue is often caused by either an incorrect setting in BIOS or a bad boot device, such as a bad hard disk drive.
when i can get to the partion it wont let me make one delete the one or use the one there when you hit the button it jumps to another blue screen that shutting down or it will do damage to windows well i have formated my xp laptop to many times no problem and my desktop and my old desktop that was win98 but i have never had this problem always have been abc to clean pc and put windows back on this is making me crazy
Agree with Michelsmith. Am worried you may lose data. It's better to have alternative online backup to be on the safe side such that when you face any disaster, your data is securely protected and can be easily restored. Personally, I backup my data on www.safecopybackup.com which has done wonders for me. They also have 3GB free trial.
