you can use findall control F(edit find)
you need for each of the entries in column A of sheet 1 you need a macro. If you are oomforatable with macros post back
also confirm you are intersted in the first two words of the entries in column A of sheet 1
It would be useful if you can upload a very small extract of your fiels both sheet1 and sheet 2 through www.speedyshare.com with no passwod. You can use finctitious data for security reasons.

I can't upload any file from work...coz all these sites (like speedyshare) are blocked.
