I need to know whats wrong blank screen

Hello,
i just noticed it it worked fine thelast time i played like 3 days ago... but now when i try to load a game i downloaded to from the internet my tv screen just goes blank, and when i put a game in the disk icon for the game wont even show up.. im not sure if it even loading the game at all. i have the new ps3.. i think its 180gb or whatever so i was just hopping that some one had some answers for me its brand new like 6 months old. HELPPP. me
