Sometimes my monitor turns into purple &when it happens I can't do anything without restarting the PC.As soon as it happens windows displays a messege that your AGP card has a problem and in order to protect your pc it should shutdown.
So I reinstalled my graphic card software but it didn't success.Further I updated my graphic card software to the newest version in Nvidia site.
So please help me to resolve this problem as soon as you can.
Check the exact type of LCD-screen that you have, then look on eBay if they have one. Or look for a defective laptop of the same brand/model, that has e.g. a faulty motherboard, but the screen is still OK.
