Restore Disc for compaq Presiario

Hello,
I am in a bit of a pickle. I was getting a Black Screen and the error message NTDLR hit Control / alt/ delete to restart

so after a few checks to make sure all drives were attached to the chords...i decided i would just do a complete restore.....
i clicked the power button then F10
when it got to the restore function..i inserted disc one.......and the reformat began....
disc 2.....and i get a this is not disc 2 please insert disc 2 into the drive......( it is disc 2 but i guess doesn't like it...) i'm now where...i don't like to be...what to do next?? i can't find just a disc 2...and all my attempts at google..have not helped either...is there a fix for this...or shall i make a deal with the devil and go to best buy and get ripped off???
