Inernet connection

Hello,
I recently reformatted my computer, and had noticed i could not connect to the internet. i went and saw there yellow question marks meaning i needed to get drivers. i went online and downloaded all of the drivers i needed. but i even after geting the drivers i still could not connect to the internet, i have both wireless and ethernet cable, both do not show any connections in Network Connections. i have then figured i needed to unplug the ethernet cable and replug it in. i then noticed that the ethernet cable had an orange light. Still cant connect so If you guys have any ideas on how to fix this, i would like the help :] thanks
