When I press my CTRL key, it opens IE

Someone help me please. The CTRL key on my keyboard opens up Internet Explorer, or when I'm using Mozilla it takes the current tab to the homepage.

I tried using a different keyboard, and now the CTRL key doesn't open it. But the keyboard I'm using isn't mine, and I love my old keyboard. Please help me. I'm pretty sure the problem is in my old keyboard itself.

Dear Louis,

There has actually been a function assigned to it and hence you should get it removed to get free of the difficulty.
