I CANNOT see one of my computers in my work Closed

Question

i have lanned four computers, all show me in my work group. 

but one computer does not show in workgroup 

all are run on windows xp 

the one computer which does not showup in workgroup is sharing the internet, i can surf the net on that pc, through shared internet but i cannot do any file sharing as it is not shown in my network workgroup. 



if any details needed please tell me. 

please help

Hi,

 Check its "Workgroup" name.  Rightclick on "My Computer"--> click on "Computer 

Name" Tab ----> check the workgroup name. If you want to change the 

workgroup name then click on "Change" and enter the right workgroup name.

Click on Start--->select "Run" ---> type NETSETUP.CPL and click on OK.

Just run that network setup wizard and follow the instructions.

first of really thanks for taking time to post here

i have doen the network setup thing many times, all my other computers show me in network, but not this one.
workgroups are also same.

please help me
