i hav a problem with my mic Closed

Hello, 

 i found a problem with my headphone mic. which i hav brougt a coupl of days back
....  when i cal someone in gtalk or in skpe.......

 i could listen to  their voice........ but i m unable to reach them.....  my systems volume is  in 
 
full... now how should i get it worked... how can they listen to my voice as well

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.6

Hi there,

Be sure to have properly plugged the mic in the appropriate port,test the mic with sound recorder to know if its working or problem with settings.
