Hi

You must reinstall the driver for your microphone.

Good luck
I want to know -
1. which driver is installed already -
2. how can i come to know which one is to be installed if it is not there
3.where from i can get the driver ( my laptop is HP -compaqnx6320
4.Is it possible someone to send the driver in e mail atatchment or link to download
5. My external Microphone & speakers are working .
6. My internal speakers are also working .

Pl rtevert back with your guidance

regards

Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Click the Recording tab and check that the integrated microphone array is set as the default device - if it isn't, left click it once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button. Click Apply to save any change.

If it is already set as the default device, right click it and select Properties. Click the Levels tab and check that the sliders are not set too low and that the speaker icon next to 'Microphone Array' is not muted - if it is, click the icon to change this. Again, click Apply to save any change.
