Hello,

Currently using MS excel 2003. I have the following formula thats generating a value of 0.
If I do individual filters it will provide me with the value that I need.

=SUMPRODUCT((C2:C20>200)*(E2:E20="*home*")*(L2:L20="No Date"))

If I filter on col C then column E then column L....I get the desired result.

I am fairly new at writing formulas, so I may not be using this correctly.

Hope you can help.

Diana

Is the a school assignment?
Can you please add what type of calculation you are trying to make excell perform?

Excell is a very strong program and from what I have found not even the program designers are completely positive of what all it can do. There is a completely seperate tutorial for math in excell and it shows all kinds of tricks.

Could you please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com, http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too
