Hello,
I have windows XP. I have put the administrator's password.
While booting , system do not ask for password.
After system in idle mode for some time, systems logs off
and asks for the password to login.
Please let me know what has to be done to accept the password
at the time of booting.

Hi,

Click on Start ---> Run ---> type control userpasswords2 and click on OK.

"User Accounts" window will be opened.

In that window, select the option "Users must enter a user name and password

to use this computer" and click on OK.

If you want "Classic Log on" window to appears instead of welcome screen, then

go to your control panel --> Click on "User Accounts" -->Click on "Change the

way users log on or log off" and uncheck the options and then click on "Apply

Options".
