Windows not loading Closed

Question

Hello,  i have a dell with windows xp it got a virus a few days ago but it still turned on but today i installed a new anti-virus program but i did not delete my old one and now  its turns on and loads the first and second screen but then goes blank but its still on any suggestions?

Reset the computer and go into Safe mode with networking. Hit F8 when the computer starts up after the boot screen. When the computer loads go hit yes and let it load. After that go to the run command and type msconfig. go to services and click the box hide Microsoft services. After that hit disable all. Next go to startup and click disable all. Then apply and OK then reboot
