1) First check the "Sound and audio devices" option in Control Panel. Make sure
that your device volume is not in mute and also check the volume controllers.
2) Try re-installing the audio drivers. You can download the drivers from the
manufacture website. Just click on the below link.
Click on "Notebook" --> Aspire ---> Aspire 5735z.
Select your "Operating System" and download the drivers.
