Unable to Open or format pendrive

Hello,

I have a 2 GB Transcend pendrive.I cant open or format the pendrive.whenever i want to open or format it a messege is showing "Another program is using Currently using this file." Please help me out to solve the problem.

Hi there,

If you are listening to music or viewing pictures or even applications from the device please end then then try to format the device also if having limited account you will not be able to format it,

Hello,

Try formatting your pen drive from command prompt.

Click on Start ---> Run ---> Type cmd and click on OK.

Here I assume your pen drive letter is G drive.

Now enter this command.

format /q /x g: and press Enter.

Note : Don't forget to replace the letter "g" with your drive letter.

i m trying the same but it will not work
my problem is i can't access my pen drive
it shows the message that"windows is unable to format the disk"
please help me.............
