HP mini laptop screen blackClosed

Question

Hello, 

my laptop won't start when i was trying to reinstall the OS with the original disc recovery,  the OS was windows7 (trial) and i was going to install Vista. I put the CD, restart it, and then it won't start, but the drive light is on. *my laptop is HP mini 2133


Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.8
