Hello,
i have an acer extensa 5235 that has lost the plot. when pressing power button, green light shows up, fans are running and for a brief second I can hear the hard drive start to boot. but thats all it does. I have no display a.k.a the black screen of death, and from what I am reading on forums this is a popular fault with acer machines in general. bios I believe is to blame. the question I have is; is it possible to fix this issue without a usb flash drive? can anyone please give me some advice on this. I will be eternaly grateful.
alan.

Hello,

Try this 1.

Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try another

slot.

Check your RAM also. Even bad RAM will result in "no display" problem.
