Lost shortcuts on desktop Closed

Question

Hello, 
All my icons I click on for the programs I want do not come up on the screen when I Hit start. i get a blue screen and blank. How can i bring back all the icons ?  


Configuration: Windows 2000 / Firefox 3.5.11

Hi there,

The application may be removed or moved from original location,if created shortcuts from removable media it must be inserted to use it.
