HDMI issues

Hello,

I am using an HP Laptop and connecting to an HP desktop monitor. It was working fine the other day. Now I plug in the laptop and nothing happens on the monitor. Usually it would just start up and extend the screen from the laptop to the monitor.

For some reason it still works when I do this from the laptop to my TV. And the monitor still works for the desktop computer just fine.

Any suggestions?! I'm so confused as to what happened. I have not changed any options.
