Live Messenger won't open

Hello,

For the past 10 days Live Messenger tries to open. After a few moments I receive the following error message: Window Live Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience".

I have uninstalled and removed the folders as suggested, restarted the computer and the reinstalled. I still have the same problem.

I believe something occured when the IM feature was added to the Hotmail locatioin. However with the Hotmail using IM you do not have the webcam available. Not sure if this is just coincidence.

Can you help?
