                    Hello,
Try this 1.
1) Set the first booting device as your CD/DVD-drive
2) Place the Windows XP Cd in the CD/DVD-drive.
3) Watch for a "Press any key to boot from CD " message, when it appears just
press any key.
4) When Windows XP Setup screen appears, press R to enter Recovery Console.
5) If you have installed Windows XP in C drive then press 1 and then Enter.
6) Enter the password and then press "Enter"
7) Now command prompt appears
C:\WINDOWS>
8) Now enter this command.
Fixmbr and press Enter.
When it asks "Are you sure you want to write a new MBR ?" --> Type Y
9) Now enter this command
bootcfg /rebuid and press Enter.
Windows installation scan will be performed.
When you get a message like "Add installation to boot list"-->type Y
Then enter the following.
For "Enter Load Identifier"prompt ---> type Windows XP Professional
For"Enter OS Load Options" prompt -------> type /fastdetect
Note : Don't forget "/" before fastdetect.
10) Then type "exist" and press "Enter" to reboot your computer.
            Try this 1.

                    Or you can try booting with a live xp disk which could boot your os partially so that you can recover the data from it.
