Hello,

I have a first generation wireless N router and a brand new wireless N network adapter, both of which are backwards compatible with wireless G. Whenever I connect to my network, my computer informs me that I'm recieving wireless G, even though my router should be transmitting N. Any advice on how to be absolutely sure what type of signal I'm recieving? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

do check on your router there a option where you could set the mode on B and G or to a draft N mode there is a possibility that your router is set to B&G mode that is the reason why you are receiving that problem.
