HP- dv-7 laptops screen goes grey! Closed

Hello, 

My HP Dv-7 laptop is having issues! The screen in a few mins goes grey - the laptop stays on but does not respond. I have to force the power button to shut it down. Please help!!

Which os are you currently using on it?please provide maximum of information on the issue,last time it worked what did you do?any installed applications or added hardware to it?
