HOw to access internet on anouther pc

Hello, i just ot the new GTA4 but my PC does not have internet. so i connected my pc to my laptop witch does have intnet. they are coneted by a lan cable. the laptop is vista and the pc is xp. how do i access the internet on the pc

install "internet sharing" on the laptop and the PC - connect the PC to to the laptop using a "cross-over cable" NOT a standard Lan cable. that should work.
