Hello,
Hello all, I have a Dell XPS M1530 laptop with a BIOS password installed. The password I believe to be correct does not work. I contacted Dell and they provided the backdoor BIOS password.

My service tag is 97T6NF1-595B. Dell sent me "dio27p6r" to try. I have used a second keyboard and an external keyboard. Still says invalid.

This password does not work. I was hoping someone on this board could provide some wisdom or a direction to try since this is not working. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this post and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I notice the "o" is it a zero or an alpha O?

Perhaps you should call Dell for clarification.

Good Luck

Hello Detlucas,

I hope that Dell gives you the solution you are seeking.

Please note that Kioskea cannot help you any further with you system's password.
