Hello,

I purchased the belkin F2N02806GLD M/M replacement cable to use on my laptop to view sonic monitor...and I get a horrible splash of yellow that distorts the whole screen.

I checked some other sites and I am told that the missing pin is the #9 which is a 5v supply from the system to the monitor and should have no effect what so ever, but looking at the pin layout I'm confused.

My monitor is a view sonic vx2235wm with a VGA female connector and my laptop in a HP Presario also with a VGA female connector, the pin layout shows it to be pin #7 which is green return?

anyway.... I need to find a real 15 pin D-Sub Cable that is male to male, any advice is welcomed.

Hi there,

You definitely need to purchase the cable as pin cannot be added to it,search your local computer shops till found the right one,.

Good luck.
