I had a problem a while ago with a virus...I sent it to some guy who was supposed to be good and he fixed the problem. However, I couldn't download anything. I tried to reset my computer back to before he changed things but it didn't work. I don't know why but it says I can't download anything from the internet. It will go through the process but it's like the last step gets interrupted and it says I'm not connected to the internet. I know I am though....I've tried to change firewall settings but it just doesn't work. I use internet explorer and it works fine but when i try to go to things like a game console or something without a window it says I am currently offline. It's crazy!! Please Help!
And the guy claims he doesn't know what he did....the deleted word!
Please get to Tools> Options and check whether the address path has been correctly set and if whether you need to have your firewall deactivated for being able to download any file.
