Search for accounts balances Excel or Access Closed

Hi guy's, 

I need your help with the following problem.

I have a list of accounts in an Access Database, each account has a balance next to it.

The total balance of all acc's is for example £100,758.20

Right i need to reduce this balance to show £100k, so i need MS access to find all accounts that have a balance to make up £758.20 total.

Now this could 1 account or it could be 20 accounts. The number of account in the database is in the 1000's. I have conidered doing it in excel aswell but it takes longer to process so much info.

However in saying this if someone has a solution in excel i will take it.

Does it needs to be weighted adjustment or not.
If not, why not start with account with max value and adjust. then to next  and so on till  you have adjusted 100K

In case of weighted adjustment, you would need to see how much each account can be adjusted, 

for weighted solution
 get total amount in accounts with positive balance

this you need to confirm if logic hold
 for each account with postive balance
(account balance / total balance ) * 100K
this is amount that needs to be adjusted for this account
