Hello,

i have got an excel sheet which is prepared by some tool having two columns with custom and the format is mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss. when i am reading the file with my application the cells are treating as string instead of date and time. But when I double click the cell and try to read again, now the cell is treating as date and time. I am using excel 2003. can you please help me how to fix this?

Use Text-To-Column feature and convert that column to a truely date column (as per excel). Then you can format it to what ever way you want to
