Hello,
i have re installed windows xp on a laptop i was just given which was not working but now i have re installed windows sounds dont work on it also screen resolution isnt right and the mouse pad thing on laptop dont scroll down like it should my laptop is the advent7086 please help me out

You need the correct hardware drivers.
This laptop is the same as the ECS 321 you can download drivers from this site:
