Emachine desktop analog keeps coming on Closed

Question

Hello, 

i have a 2008 emachine desktop..and my monitor keeps saying analog and then going black but everything is still on the screen and the power light is still on..after i turn it on and off and it says analog several times it will come back on for a bit then go off again..i have replaced video cable and completely reinstalled windows vista..do you have any other suggestions to what might be causing it


Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 533.4

This might be a failing video card/chip.  Can you replace the card?
