HP Function F9 key not working

Hello,


I have an HP Laptop. The F9 key doesnt normally work. Whil on Tally, all of a sudden the F9 key gets activated and PURCHASE Voucher entries appear.

I was wondering that if I connect an external keyboard, will it bypass the problem?

Please help urgent

Dear Rajiv,

It might be that the trouble is sourcing from the circuit board and you will normally have to send it to a Repair Shop to confirm the matter. Yet, before doing it, please confirm that the source of the problem is not a virus or trojan infection.
