compaq presario dead Closed

hello
           My compaq presario v6000 would not start.. its dead.. when i try to switch it on, the blue light around the start button and the led light on the keypad lights up and then goes off but the computer does not switch on. Any help , appreciated.. Thanks in advance ^_^

Remove the battery and connect the laptop to directly to power source then try turning it ON. If it works battery is the cause. If not you need to go to nearest service centre to check the internal hardware.

Hi there,

Remove your battery and plug power adapter to it and try powering on,if this works then you need to have the battery either replaced or work with adapter only depending on your budget,
